    Wood buyer

    To expand its business, SCIERIES OF CORGNAC is recruiting a Timber Buyer.

    Reporting to the Forestry Operations Manager, you will join the purchasing team responsible for supplying the mill.

    You will purchase timber from forest owners who are part of our supplier portfolio, or who you have previously prospected or who have contacted us.

    You will lead the teams of lumberjacks/stevedores who work on your timber harvests, you will ensure follow-up, and you may liaise with transporters for the delivery of timber to our mill.

    If you enjoy working with people, the forest, and have the rigor to accurately monitor material flows and the progress of forestry projects, we offer you an exciting position where you will be autonomous.

    Beginners accepted, if you have at least a two-year post-secondary degree specialized in forestry.
    Company vehicle provided.

    Crane driver

    You are a heavy goods vehicle driver and crane operator, experienced in operating a truck-mounted crane. However, we can provide you with additional in-house training.

    Your duties :

    • Supply wood to the factory located in Négrondes in compliance with current regulations and safety rules.
    • Check the vehicle’s operational condition.
    • Transport/Load/Unload

    You don’t sleep in ; you go home every evening.

    You must hold :

    • EC license
    • Driver’s license
    • FIMO card (valid for driving vehicles over 19 tons)
    • 3 years’ experience required

    Lumber yard manager

    Your responsibilities :

    • Receiving timber trucks at the plant (quality control, volume control)
    • Organizing and managing the timber yard

    Experience operating construction equipment (forklift, excavator, etc.) would be a plus.

    You are autonomous, conscientious, and meticulous.

    Salary will be determined based on your profile.

    Maintenance Technician – Electromechanics

    You will join a team of 5 people.

    Reporting to your department manager, your main responsibilities will be :

    • Preventive maintenance of equipment
    • Diagnosis and inspection of machines, installations, and equipment
    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance work
      Contribute to the continuous improvement of equipment
      Ensure troubleshooting
      Monitor ongoing projects
      Maintain the maintenance and condition of safety components

    You are autonomous, conscientious, and meticulous.

    You have experience in the field.

    Salary will be determined based on your profile.
